Dera Ismail Khan:The District Food Department conducted market inspections and checked government flour sale points in Dera Ismail Khan to monitor the availability and distribution of subsidized flour to the public.
On the instructions of District Food Controller Muhammad Azam Khan, Assistant Food Controller (Headquarters) Khaliq-ur-Rehman and Foodgrain Inspector Sajid Khan Khokhar inspected the markets and designated government flour sale points.
Government flour was dispatched from various Mills for distribution among the general public through nominated dealers at officially approved rates.
The inspecting officials reviewed the distribution arrangements and stressed the need to ensure the availability of flour at notified prices, prevent overcharging and maintain transparency in the sale process.
The Food Department reaffirmed its commitment to regular market inspections and effective monitoring to facilitate consumers and ensure the smooth distribution of subsidized flour across the district.
