Kohat: Former Divisional Director of the Local Government and Rural Development Department Mashallah Khan has passed away on Sunday, plunging his family, colleagues and the local community into grief.
Mashallah Khan, a respected resident of Mohallah Hazrat Haji Bahadur Sahib, was the father of Muhammad Waseem and Muhammad Fahim and grandfather of Inam and Ahmed. His death was widely mourned by members of the community and citizens.
His funeral procession will leave at 9:30 p. m. after Isha prayers from near the National Bank, alongside Fish Market Street, while funeral prayers will be offered at Janazagah No. 2 in the main graveyard of Kohat.
Community members and citizens expressed deep sorrow over his death and prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the departed soul eternal peace, elevate his ranks in Jannah and give patience to the bereaved family.
