Faisalabad: A youth was shot dead at a village in tehsil Jaranwala on Monday. According to Rescue-1122, the victim Sajjad (26) s/o Muhammad Raees resident of Saadpur was going to appear in tehsil court in a case when some armed men from his rival group opened firing on him near Chak No 646-GB. He suffered critical bullet injuries and died on the spot. The dead body was moved to Lundianwala police station. The police however collected forensic evidence from the site and initiated legal process.
