Four flour sale points set up in Sialkot

Sialkot: The food department established four sale points in Sialkot to ensure availability of flour at official rates. According to District Food Controller Faiz-ul-Hassan, 2,000 bags of 10kg flour are being provided daily at these sale points, where each bag is available at the government-fixed price of Rs 905. He said the initiative aims to curb artificial shortages and profiteering, adding that the flour being supplied meets the prescribed quality standards. He informed that 1,000 bags are being provided at the Neka Pura Bridge sale point, 700 bags at Hajipura, 200 bags near Jinnah Stadium, and 100 bags at the sale point on Daska-Pasrur Road. He added that the supply of flour at these sale points is being ensured through various flour mills.
