Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi police on Saturday apprehended four suspects, recovering unlicensed firearms with live ammunition and over five litres of illegal liquor during targeted anti-crime operations across the district.
The raids were carried out by operational teams within the territorial limits of Chaklala and Pirwadhai police stations to curb street crime, illegal weapons and bootlegging, the Rawalpindi Police spokesperson said in a press release.
Divisional SPs confirmed that formal cases had been registered against all four individuals, reassuring that daily intelligence-based operations would continue to eliminate illegal arms and contraband across the city.
