Free books, uniforms provided to 600 students at Govt Boys’ High School Gandakha: Jamali

Quetta:Rizwan Ahmed Jamali, Headmaster and Cluster Head of Government Boys’ High School, Gandakha Rizwan Ahmed Jamali on Wednesday said that more than 600 students enrolled at the school have been provided with free of cost taxtbooks, uniforms, and other essential educational supplies.



He said that these books were provided to the students in accordance with special directives from the provincial government, senior officials of the Education Department, the Divisional Director, and the District Education Officer.



He said this while addressing a ceremony held for the distribution of uniforms and school bags.



He noted that the school accommodates over 600 students ranging from the preparatory level (Kachi) to the tenth grade; these students have received free textbooks and uniforms as part of the provision of educational facilities.



He emphasized that the government is focusing specifically on providing basic educational facilities to children in public educational institutions, ensuring that children from poor and deserving families do not face financial hurdles regarding educational expenses and could continue their studies without interruption.



He further mentioned that Government Boys’ High School, Gandakha, has been assigned the responsibilities of a Cluster Head, and available educational resources have been distributed equitably among all feeder schools falling under the cluster.



He said that reading and writing materials, uniforms, and furniture have been provided to students in these schools to ensure a better educational environment for the children.



He told that the provision of basic reading and writing materials for students in early grades is crucial, as these resources help strengthen their academic foundation.



Similarly, the provision of adequate furniture ensures better seating arrangements for students and enhances the teaching-learning process, he said.



He noted that the administration of Gandakha High School is diligently fulfilling its responsibilities to provide a quality educational environment, teachers are striving not only to impart the curriculum but also to foster habits of reading and writing, discipline, and positive social values among the students.



He added that the provision of free books, uniforms, and other essential educational supplies in government schools would alleviate the financial burden on parents, enabling children, particularly those from low-income families to continue their education effectively.



He expressed a firm commitment to utilizing available resources in all schools within the cluster to meet students’ needs and pledged to continue implementing directives from Education Department officials to further improve the delivery of educational facilities.
