Nawabshah: A major facility has been introduced for passengers at Nawabshah Railway Station, where a 24-hour free Wi-Fi service has been launched.
According to a report, the initiative has been made possible through the efforts of Pakistan Railways Sukkur Divisional Superintendent (DS) Farman Ghani and Station Master Nawabshah Shehzad Umrani.
The facility aims to improve travel convenience by providing passengers with continuous internet access.
Through the free Wi-Fi service, thousands of daily passengers would be able to use the internet service free of charge. Additionally, passengers can access real-time train information using Pakistan Railways’ ‘Track My Train’ application, including updates on train locations, arrivals, departures, and other relevant details. Station Master Shehzad Umrani said that passengers previously faced difficulties in obtaining timely information about train schedules and movements. To address this issue, Wi-Fi has been installed on the platform to ensure easy access to essential travel information.
He added that the primary objective of the service is to provide passengers with improved, modern, and timely facilities during their journey.
