Mardan: Future Leaders Youth Assembly, a project of Human Rights Protection and Social Justice, held its fourth parliamentary session here on Tuesday at District Council Hall, Mardan, highlighting issues and challenges faced by youngsters.
The session was attended by young members who held detailed discussions on regional and public issues including health, education, IT, technology, business, youth rights and other important social matters.
During the session, the young participants highlighted various issues and presented several resolutions aimed at addressing them.
They emphasized that equipping the younger generation with modern skills and knowledge is essential for the country’s development and a better future.
They underscored the need for effective measures and practical planning to provide young people with quality education, training in modern IT and technology, skill development opportunities, business prospects and respectable employment.
The parliamentary session also emphasized the importance of enabling young people to become self-employed, utilizing their abilities and creative potential in a positive direction and providing them with opportunities to play an active role in the national economy.
The session was addressed by MPA Shahida Waheed Khan Hoti, Chairman of Pakistan Awami Quwat Party and Werao Foundation Khaqan Waheed Khawaja, Chairman of Future Leaders Youth Assembly Engineer Irfan Khan, Human Rights Activist Nusrat Ara, District Public Health Coordinator at DHQ Hospital Mardan Dr. Rubina Riaz, and other speakers.
The speakers highlighted the vital role of young people and said that conscious, educated and talented youth are essential for a bright future of the country. They stressed that equipping young people with democratic values, parliamentary traditions, positive dialogue and problem-solving skills is a pressing need of the time.
