SWABI::Ghulam Ishaq Khan (GIK) Institute of Engineering and the University of Punjab (UoP) here Thursday signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote educational and research-oriented activities.
The MoU was signed by Rector GIK Institute, Prof Dr. Khalid Ahmad and Vice Chancellor UoP, Prof Dr. Sarfaraz Khurshid.
Under the agreement, both the educational institutions would share their research and technical information for mutual benefit and provide scholars with future guidelines to conduct research.
It was also agreed that GIK and UoP would work jointly for conducting research on topics of mutual interest besides holding events and seminars.
On the occasion, another MoU was inked between Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology and GIK institute for mutual cooperation relating to various educational activities.
