Islamabad:The prices of gold witnessed an increase in the local market on Saturday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs1,100 to settle at Rs442,036, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs943 to Rs378,974, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs864 to Rs347,405.
In the international market, the price of gold increased by $11 to $4,195 per ounce, the association reported.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs43 to Rs6,555, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs37 to Rs5,619.
The price of silver in the international market also increased by $0.43 to $60.77 per ounce, the association added.
