LAHORE:Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman chaired a meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) of Cadet College Okara during which budget for the fiscal year 2023-24 was approved, here on Thursday.
Muhammad Balighur Rehman said the youth are a valuable asset of the country, and it is important to enlighten them about the importance of Quaid-i-Azam’s golden principles – unity, faith and discipline.
The Governor urged the principal to focus on the character building of the students along with education.
He said there is a lot of emphasis on high morals and character building in our religion.
He directed the BoG to improve sports facilities for students, adding, swimming pool, auditorium, and gymnasium should be started as soon as possible, and under construction hostel should be completed and made functional at the earliest according to international standards.
