Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Divisional President, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Member National Assembly (MNA) Malik Abrar Ahmed said after the approval of the Budget 2024-25 for the next financial year, the government would prioritise its focus on other public issues that remained unattended due to pressing issues.

The PML-N leader said that a new era of development and public prosperity was going to begin in the country with the visionary policies and far-reaching decisions of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, while talking to reporter in the Lobby of Parliament House here on Thursday.

He said the government had made myriads of efforts to provide all possible facilities to the people, whereas the critics of the government were deriding the government’s budget for the sake of criticism, but they would not get anything even on this occasion as the victory would be of the people.

Malik Abrar Ahmed said that despite such difficult conditions and IMF’s strict conditions, the economic team under the leadership
of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has presented an excellent budget. He said that Pakistan had come out of the quagmire of problems and was leading to the path of development and prosperity.

MNA, Barrister Daniyal Chaudhry said that the verdict was proclaimed n the Iddat case, and the court upheld the sentence. “When the decision of the case against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder came, he lost his mind,” the PML-N MNA said.

He accused the founder PTI for inflicting unprecedented damage to the country. “This government has spoken to the people and is the spokesperson of the poor people. We are not with the enemies of the country,” he said.

Barrister Daniyal noted that every leader of his party had faced 3 years detention. The government of Pakistan under the leadership of Shahbaz Sharif had put the country on the track of development, he added.
