Rawalpindi: The Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi is actively working to enhance the city’s parks and improve the care of plants and flowers in line with directives from its Managing Director Ahmed Hassan Ranjha. Special teams have been formed to ensure the continued beautification of local green spaces.
In particular, efforts were focused on Dhok Munshi Park, situated in the Potwar sector, where steps have been taken to further beautify the park and protect its plants from the cold weather, an HA spokesman said on Saturday.
The park, known for its vibrant array of colourful flowers, has become a focal point for citizens, offering a picturesque display reminiscent of spring.
In addition to flower care, the spokesman said, the maintenance of the park’s cricket stadium was also being prioritised, with arrangements in place to maintain cleanliness and protect the flora.
HA MD Ahmed Hassan Ranjha praised the hard work of the agency’s staff, who are diligently carrying out the beautification and maintenance efforts to ensure the park remains a pleasant and well-kept space.
He reiterated that the Agency’s commitment extends to all parks across the city, ensuring they are beautifully landscaped and maintained for the enjoyment of Rawalpindi’s residents.
‘We are working day and night to provide citizens with the best recreational spaces,’ Ranjha said. ‘The parks of Rawalpindi will be beautifully decorated to offer a healthy and enjoyable environment, and we will spare no effort in this regard.’
The Horticulture Agency’s ongoing efforts are aimed at providing high-quality recreational facilities to the public, contributing to the overall beautification of Rawalpindi’s green spaces.
