ISLAMABAD:In a major breakthrough, the Islamabad Capital Police (ICP) on Saturday arrested two terrorists from Khanna Pull Hill in Rawalpindi and recovered a cache of arms, ammunition, and a motorbike from their possession.
The ICP team, acting on a tip, apprehended the terrorists near Khanapul Pahari. During the search operation, the police recovered explosives, weapons, and a motorcycle, a public relations officer said.
The identification of the terrorists is underway.
The arrest of the two terrorists is a major success for the ICP and a setback for the terrorist outfits operating in the region.
It also reflects the ICP’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the citizens of Islamabad.
