Lahore: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has approved the release of an additional over Rs. 2.35 million for the medical treatment of police employees and families suffering from serious illnesses across Lahore and other districts.
Sharing details, the spokesperson for Punjab Police said that Constable Javed Iqbal was provided funds of Rs 500,000 for the treatment of a heart condition. Sub-Inspector Riyasat Ali was provided Rs 325,000 for surgery. Head Constable Muhammad Asif was given Rs 250,000 for his wife’s treatment. Constable Bilal Hassan received Rs 235,000 for surgery. Head Constable Imran Asghar was provided Rs 150,000 for treatment of a brain tumor.
Similarly, ASIs Ali Hamza, Mumtaz Hussain, and Security Constable Ghulam Mustafa were provided Rs 100,000 each for treatment. Head Constables Kamran Aslam, Amir Muhammad Khan, and Driver Constable Muhammad Zubair were each provided Rs 100,000 for treatment. Constables Shair Bahadur and Saqib Khan were provided a total of Rs 150,000 for treatment. Head Constables Awais Ahmad, Tariq Javed, and Supervisor Rab Nawaz were provided a total of Rs 140,000 for treatment.
