Peshawar: The 79th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated at Lady Reading Hospital (LRH), Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Peshawar with great enthusiasm and patriotic zeal.
The ceremony began with recitation from the Holy Quran followed by Hamd and Naat. The national anthem and patriotic songs were also presented on the occasion.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hospital Director Muhammad Tariq Khan Baraki highlighted the significance of independence day and emphasized that everyone should perform their duties with honesty, dedication and responsibility and contribute to the development and progress of the country.
Dean and CEO Professor Sahibzada Mahmood Noor also addressed the gathering and stressed the importance of promoting unity, discipline and national solidarity.
