Attock: Like the rest of the country, the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated across Attock district with national spirit, enthusiasm and a renewed commitment to serving the nation. Special illuminations were arranged at all Rescue 1122 stations in Attock, while rescuers actively participated in various Independence Day events.
Under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Dr. Mian Muhammad Ashfaq, officers and personnel of Rescue 1122 Attock participated in Independence Day celebrations. At the main ceremony organized by the district administration, a smartly turned-out contingent of Rescue 1122 presented a salute to the national flag and expressed its love and devotion to the motherland.
On the occasion, District Emergency Officer Dr. Mian Muhammad Ashfaq congratulated Rescue officers and personnel on Independence Day and said that Pakistan is the fruit of the great sacrifices, struggle and unwavering determination of our forefathers. He emphasized that we must value our freedom and consider serving the country and nation our foremost duty.
He further said that every member of Rescue 1122 Attock is performing his or her duties with responsibility, honesty and a spirit of service to protect the lives and property of the public. Independence Day provides an opportunity to renew our commitment to playing an even more effective role in the development and progress of Pakistan, as well as in maintaining peace, stability and serving the people.
