PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has taken another step for the convenience of dwellers of merged and southern districts by establishing 43 Citizen Facilitation Centers (CFCs) in the province.
Under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Digital Initiative, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with World Bank, Economic Affair Division Islamabad and NADRA has established 43 Citizen Facilitation Centers in the province, disclosed Director General PDMA, Sharif Hussain.
In a press statement issued here on Monday, the DG PDMA said 27 Citizen Facilitation Centers are established in the merged districts and 16 are operational in the southern districts.
Facilities like issuance of National Identity Cards, Child Registration Certificates, Family Registration Certificates, Child Birth Registration, NICOP, Juvenile Card, Bank Sub Branches with ATM facilities, E-Sahulat (Naya Pakistan housing registration, E.T.O vehicle verification Islamabad, ID Verification, Mobile Top-Ups), Livelihood Support Grant (LSG), Child Wellness Grant and payment of utility bills can be acquired by the general public under single roof.
Facilitation centers in Bannu, Lakki Marwat, DI Khan and Tank are operational. Civil Registration (Marriage/Death/Divorce), Federal Arm license, Passport Data Collection Counters, BISP counter facilities are proposed services to be provided in these CFCs.
Local Government Department have deputed their staff at 27 merged districts CFC’s to provide the Civil Registration and Management System (CRM’s) services to Locals. And this is the first time throughout Pakistan that online CRMS services are provided at CFC’s in merged districts, before it was doing local government manually. He further said that Economic Affair Division, Islamabad, Nadra and PDMA KP are jointly collaborating these CFCs.
Locals also praised the efforts by saying that they had a lot of problem before and used to travel to far-flung areas for Birth, marriage registration, E-Sahulat and other necessary documentation but now we can have all these facilities under a single roof.
