Lincoln Corner at UoS concludes Freedom 250 Innovation Bootcamp


Sargodha: The University of Sargodha’s Lincoln Corner has concluded its four-week Freedom 250 Innovation Bootcamp, with participants showcasing innovative projects developed during the programme and receiving certificates at a closing ceremony.



The bootcamp was conducted in two phases, with the first designed for children and the second for participants aged 18 to 24. The programme focused on fostering creativity, innovation, problem-solving and project development through interactive learning activities.



Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan attended the ceremony as the chief guest, while Lincoln Corner Focal Person Prof. Dr. Ijaz Asghar Bhatti was also present.



The guests visited an exhibition of participants’ projects and appreciated the creativity, commitment and enthusiasm demonstrated throughout the programme.



Addressing the participants, Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan said such initiatives equipped young people with the skills, confidence and innovative mindset needed to address emerging challenges and contribute positively to society.



Prof. Dr. Ijaz Asghar Bhatti said Lincoln Corner remained committed to providing learning opportunities that encouraged innovation, collaboration and personal development among young people.



Certificates were awarded to participants on the completion of the bootcamp, while members of the Friends of the Corner received appreciation certificates for their contribution to planning, coordinating and managing the programme.
