Kohat:Kohat Police arrested a man within 24 hours for allegedly murdering his father over a domestic dispute, police said on Wednesday.
According to police officials, District Police Officer (DPO) Kohat, SSP Rai Mazhar Iqbal, had issued special directives for strict action against serious crimes across the district.
Acting swiftly on the instructions, the police team, launched an immediate operation and arrested the suspect, identified as Adil, within 24 hours of the incident.
Police said the accused allegedly killed his father following a domestic dispute. Soon after receiving information about the incident, investigators initiated a prompt inquiry and utilized modern investigative techniques to trace and apprehend the suspect.
A case has been registered against the accused, while further investigation is underway, police added.
