Karachi: Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab has approved departmental action against KMC officials found responsible for irregularities and alleged illegal land allotments and mutations.
Two officials, Additional Director Hafiz Mugheera Qadri and Deputy Director Noman Ahmed, have been removed from service, while Assistant Director Naeem-ul-Haq’s promotion has been forfeited following departmental inquiries.
Chairing a meeting at KMC Head Office, Mayor Wahab directed the Municipal Commissioner to expedite all pending inquiries and complete decisions within one month.
He stressed that corruption, misuse of authority and illegal practices would not be tolerated, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability and the protection of KMC’s land and assets.
