Rawalpindi: A Mehfil-e-Milad will be held in Hassan Abdal with the beginning of Rabi-ul-Awwal to commemorate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
As part of the celebrations, the Mehfil-e-Milad will be held on Saturday, August 22, at Wasif Marriage Hall on Railway Road, Hassan Abdal.
The programme will feature Naat recitation, along with a special address by Pir Sahib of Garhi Afghana on the significance and virtues of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), Seerat-un-Nabi and various aspects of the blessed life and exemplary character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
In his address, the speaker will highlight the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), particularly his high moral character, message of love and brotherhood, tolerance, patience, perseverance and kindness towards humanity.
He will also emphasise the importance of following the Prophet’s exemplary life and teachings in both individual and collective affairs.
The gathering will continue from Maghrib until Isha prayers.
The organisers have invited citizens to attend the Mehfil and urged them to encourage others to participate in the religious gathering.
Special arrangements for Langar-e-Madina will be made for participants at the conclusion of the event.
