MEPCO provides 26 bucket mounted vehicles for safety of line staff, timely completion of uplift projects

MULTAN: Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) administration provided 26 insulated bucket-mounted vehicles to operational divisions in order to safe precious lives of line staff during duty, to ensure timely completion of developmental projects, and promptly address consumer complaints.

Spokesperson for MEPCO stated that the purpose of providing bucket vehicles to operational divisions was not only to ensure the protection of valuable human lives but also for the immediate replacement and installation of transformers.

The use of bucket-mounted vehicles will save time in the installation of new poles and maintenance/replacement of high tension/low tension lines. These 26 insulated bucket-mounted vehicles have been provided to operational divisions while training given to one driver and two lineman of each division. The new bucket vehicles have been provided to Shujaabad (Multan Circle), Khanewal, Kabirwala, Mian Channu (Khanewal circle), Taunsa, Rajanpur (DG Khan circle), Vehari, Mailsi, Burewala (Vehari cir
cle), Hasilpur, Ahmedpur East, Kahror Pakka, Duniyapur (Bahawalpur circle), Liaquatpur, Sadiqabad (Rahim Yar Khan circle), Alipur, Kot Addu, Layyah, Khan Garh (Muzaffargarh), Sahiwal Second, Arifwala, Pakpattan, Chichawatni (Sahiwal Circle), Bahawalnagar, Haroonabad, and Chishtian (Bahawalnagar circle).
