PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Agriculture, Sajjad Barkwal on Thursday chaired the Senate meeting of Agricultural University Swat (AUS) at Governor House Peshawar.
The meeting was attended by members of Senate, representatives of establishment, finance and Higher Education Commission.
The meeting held a detailed discussion and conditionally approved budget of Agricultural University Swat for the financial year 2024-25. Participants also directed to conduct third party audit of the university budget for the year 2023-24.
Addressing the meeting, minister directed to submit audit report of Swat Agricultural University within six months for proper review.
A committee was also formed to ensure timely audit of Agricultural University Swat and to present the report in the upcoming Senate meeting.
