Lahore: Prof. Dr. Jodat Saleem has assumed charge as the new principal of Ameer-ud-Din Medical College (AMC), Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) and Lahore General Hospital (LGH).
Medical Superintendent Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain warmly welcomed the new Principal, presented him with a bouquet and briefed him in detail on the hospital’s administrative affairs, teaching activities and treatment facilities.
Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain said the appointment of the new Principal would further strengthen discipline and contribute to overall improvement in the hospital. He assured full cooperation to Prof. Dr. Jodat Saleem for provision of quality medical facilities to patients and further improvement of institutional standards. He added that joint efforts would continue to ensure cleanliness, security and discipline.
Prof. Dr. Jodat Saleem expressed his resolve to ensure quality healthcare and a pleasant environment for patients in accordance with the directives of the Punjab Government. He made it clear that there would be no compromise on discipline in any department and that a zero-tolerance policy would be strictly enforced at every level.
He directed that cleanliness standards be further improved and security staff remain fully alert while performing their duties. He also assured that hardworking, dedicated and high-performing employees would be encouraged and appreciated in every possible manner.
