Over 100,000 complaints decided by federal Ombudsman in 2021, 98% compliance reported

MULTAN:Federal Ombudsman Pakistan Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi has decided 106,000 complaints against the federal departments in 2021 and 98 per cent of these decisions have been enforced, official sources said on Wednesday.

Munawwar Sajjad Gondal, Deputy Registrar Multan regional office of Federal Ombudsman, said that one-window counters of twelve federal government departments were operational at Multan international airport where officials remain present to receive complaints of overseas Pakistanis and all out efforts are made to resolve them.

He said that federal Ombudsman has ordered an inquiry against the immigration staff on complaints of expatriate Pakistanis from South Africa.

He visited PTCL office Wednesday on instructions from federal Ombudsman and issued orders for establishment of a separate counter for disabled persons.
