Lahore: The Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE) has announced the results of its First Annual Examination 2026, with candidates posting satisfactory performances across various technical and vocational programmes. The board also released the names of students who secured top positions in different categories.
According to the results, the Matric Vocational (Hearing Impaired) programme recorded the highest pass rate at 87. 13 per cent. The pass rate for the first year of the DAE Sino-Pak Dual Degree Programme stood at 84. 17 per cent, while 65 per cent of second-year students successfully cleared the examination.
The pass rate in the Matric Vocational programme was 73. 93 per cent, slightly higher than the 73. 73 per cent recorded in the Matric Tech examination.
Among the position holders, Muzammil Bashir secured the first position in Matric Tech, followed by Ayesha Zafar in second place and Hassan Kamal in third. In the Matric Vocational programme, Shazia Ahmed stood first, Humira Batool secured sec
ond position, and Sahreen Fatima claimed third.
In the Matric Vocational (Hearing Impaired) category, Abiha secured first position, Khadija Dawood Gul stood second, while Sneeha Zafar secured third position.
Congratulating the successful candidates and position holders, PBTE Chairman Dr. Faisal Mahmood announced that the board will soon hold a medal award ceremony to honour outstanding students. He said the achievers will be presented with medals, certificates and other prizes in recognition of their academic excellence.
