PML-N to Continue Development Agenda in AJK, Says Shezra Mansab Ali


Islamabad: Minister of State for Climate Change Dr. Shezra Mansab Ali said on Monday that the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) had extended their full support to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in recognition of its performance-based policies.



Speaking during a news channel programme, she said that after forming the government in AJK, the PML-N would continue its development-oriented agenda to promote the region’s uplift and prosperity. She said the PML-N believed in development, public welfare, and improving the living standards of the people. The party, she added, had always worked for progress and prosperity across the country.



Commenting on the politics of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Dr. Shezra Mansab Ali alleged that the party had promoted a politics of agitation and had lost popularity by creating unrest in the country.



Responding to a question about the creation of new administrative units, she said political parties, opposition groups, and coalition partners should use the forum of Parliament to debate and discuss national affairs. She said the establishment of new provinces could help improve governance and strengthen the federation.
