ISLAMABAD:One Police official died and three others were injured when a Police van met an accident at Colonel Sher Khan Interchange on M-1 here on Thursday.
According to National Highways and Motorway Police North Zone spokesman, Muhammad Saqib, the police van was coming to Islamabad from Peshawar when it overturned as one of its back tyres burst.
The six police officials present in the van were shifted to Mardan Medical Hospital of which police constable Fazal Hayat succumbed to his injury while three others were reported to be in serious condition.
