Sialkot: Sialkot District Police Officer Captain (Retd. ) Dost Muhammad stressed accountability and merit in the police department, rewarding outstanding performers while taking disciplinary action against personnel found guilty of misconduct.
According to a police release, a departmental hearing (Ardali Room) was held at Police Lines Sialkot, where employees found guilty of violating departmental rules were awarded various penalties, including forfeiture of service, censure and other departmental punishments.
Meanwhile, DPO Dost Muhammad distributed certificates of appreciation and cash rewards among police officers and personnel in recognition of their outstanding performance.
The DPO said the police department had an effective system of reward and punishment, under which officers and personnel demonstrating good performance would be encouraged and rewarded, while strict action would be taken against those whose conduct brought disrepute to the department.
