Hyderabad: The Chairman Sindhi Language Authority Dr. Sher Mehrani on Monday met with Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Provincial Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Department in Hyderabad.
The Spokesman Saleem Jarwar informed that during the meeting, Chairman Dr. Sher Mehrani told the provincial minister in detail about the ongoing projects of Sindhi Language Authority.
Dr. Sher Mehrani apprised Minister Syed Zulfikar Ali Shah that the institution is taking all possible efforts for the development and promotion of Sindhi language.
Sindhi learning centers have been established by the institution in seven cities of the country which are giving better results.
He said that new books are also being published so that the development of Sindhi language can be possible at every level.
On this occasion, Provincial Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah expressed his satisfaction with the projects being carried out by the Sindhi Language Authority and praised the performance of the Chairman.
The minister also issued directives to him and said that all the projects being carried out by the institution should be continued so that positive results can be obtained immediately.
On this occasion, the chairman of the institution also presented the performance report and the set of printed books to the provincial minister.
During the meeting, Director of Culture Department Zulfikar Panhwor and other officials were also present.
