Karak: A policeman was martyred and six others sustained injuries when a remote-controlled blast targeted a police van in the Ghol Dam area of Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Monday, according to police sources quoted by TV channels. Initial reports said the blast occurred as the police mobile van was passing through the Ghol Dam area.
As a result, one policeman lost his life while six others were injured. The body of the martyred policeman and the injured personnel were shifted to a nearby hospital. Following the incident, police launched a search operation in the area to trace and apprehend the suspects involved in the attack. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
