ISLAMABAD:Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) and Pakistan Boys Scouts Association (PBSA) would jointly promote eco-friendly youth tourism among boy scouts across the country.
In this regard, PTDC and PBSA recently signed a Memorandum of Understand (MoU), which would assure cooperation between both the organizations for sharing information and opportunities to contribute to each others initiatives and work.
In a statement issued here, PTDC Managing Director Aftab ur Rehman Rana said that the effort would go long way in adding the capacity building of boy scouts and giving them a healthy environment besides their regular activities as tourism takes people close to nature, opening more opportunities of working with a health mind.
Various outdoor activities such as hiking, trekking, nature study camps, environment care events, leadership development workshops and capacity building events would be arranged to enhance the capacity of scouts.
