Punjab education boards announce matriculation results


Lahore: The Punjab education boards have announced the results of the matriculation annual examination.



In total 282, 308 candidates participated in the examination held this year under the Lahore Board, out of which 182, 186 candidates passed.



The success rate in the examination was 64. 53 percent, while 100, 000 candidates failed the examination.



Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat attended the ceremony to announce the results of the annual matriculation examinations organized by the Lahore Board as a special guest. On this occasion, he congratulated the successful students and said that their success is the result of hard work day and night.



Rana Sikandar Hayat said that the results of the matriculation examinations have been made online. This time, students will use the QR code to check their results.



All systems have been made online. Now students will not have to go to the board office for any inquiry. 100 percent screen marking is being ensured in supplementary examinations.



Likewise, the overall success rate in the Matric Annual Examination 2026 held under the Multan Board was 72. 65 percent, 133, 019 candidates participated in the examination, out of which 96, 638 students were declared successful.



In the Matric Annual Examination held under the Faisalabad Education Board, 192, 925 candidates participated, out of which 144, 089 candidates were successful, the success rate was 74. 69 percent, in the Matric Science Group, 156, 633 candidates participated, out of which 122, 947 candidates were successful, while the success rate in the Faisalabad Matric Science Group was 78. 49 percent.



In the matriculation examinations organized by the Faisalabad Board, a total of 28, 514 students from Jhang district appeared for the exam, out of which 24, 987 students passed while 3, 527 students failed, thus the overall result ratio in Jhang district was 87. 63 percent.



A total of 120, 411 students participated in the first annual matriculation examination 2026 held under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi, while the success rate was 61. 31 percent. Member of National Assembly Malik Abrar Ahmed, along with Chairman Board Professor Dr. Iqbal Mahmood, made the results online by pressing a button. Students can download the results from the board’s website using their roll number.



Similarly, the overall success rate in the matriculation examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rawalpindi was 61. 31 percent. Overall, Muhammad Manan Ehtesham secured the first position by securing 1191 marks, belonging to Al-Amer Foundation Secondary School for Boys, Dawlatala Gujar Khan. Zunira Tahir secured the second position by securing 1180 marks, belonging to Presentation Convent High School for Girls, Pindi Point, Murree. Muhammad Fasih Abdullah secured the third position by securing 1178 marks, belonging to Cambridge International Boys Secondary School, Tala Gang. 120, 411 students participated in the annual examination under the Rawalpindi Board.
