Quetta: Administrator Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC) Major (R) Bashir Ahmed Bareach called on Adviser to Chief Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Nawabzada Amir Hamza Khan Zehri on Monday.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on departmental affairs, performance of the corporation, financial matters and ongoing development projects.
Secretary Local Government Department Abdul Rauf Baloch, District Chairman Khuzdar Haji Salahuddin Zehri, Secretary Local Government Board Shuja Gachki and Director General Local Government Ayub Qureshi were also present in the meeting held at Jhalawan House.
On this occasion, Administrator Quetta Metropolitan Corporation Major (R) Bashir Ahmed Bareach briefed the Adviser about the performance of the corporation, financial matters and ongoing development projects.
The Adviser to Local Government Nawabzada Amir Hamza Khan Zehri said that the Metropolitan Corporation has played a significant role in highlighting the development, beauty and
positive image of Quetta city.
Like the Local Government Department, the Quetta Metropolitan Corporation is also playing a key role in the development of the city and the completion of ongoing projects, he said.
He appreciated the previous administrative services of the newly appointed Administrator Major (R) Bashir Ahmed Bareach, saying that he had performed his responsibilities as Deputy Commissioner in various districts in a good manner.
