Recruitment process to fill vacancies in Punjab education boards under way


Lahore: A decision to fill various vacancies in Punjab education boards has been taken, while the process of filling various vacancies in education boards has been started. Recruitment will be made for various posts including computer programmer, assistant, senior computer operator, deputy secretary, assistant secretary and state officer in various education boards including Lahore and Faisalabad.



Recruitment will be made on 33 posts of grade 16 and 17 in Lahore, while all recruitments will be made through the Punjab Public Service Commission. Recruitment to long-standing vacant posts are likely to improve the administrative affairs of education boards, while it will also pave the way for addressing the staff shortage in education boards, which have been waiting for new recruitment for 15 years.



According to the education department, all recruitments in education boards will be made on merit and through a transparent procedure.
