Lahore: Horticulture Agency Lahore Managing Director Ahmad Usman Javed has directed that the ongoing lighting work on the city’s major roads and important locations in connection with 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal, Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), be completed at the earliest.
He chaired an important meeting to review preparations for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), on Friday.
During the meeting, Director Engineering Muhammad Ansar briefed the participants on arrangements for special lighting being carried out on major roads and at important locations across Lahore.
Ahmad Usman Javed said beautiful illuminated monuments featuring Masjid an-Nabawi (PBUH), the sacred name Muhammad (PBUH), the moon, stars and the Kalma Tayyaba were being installed along major roads in connection with 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.
He said special lighting arrangements were also underway at various important locations across the city, including Mall Road, Jail Road, Istanbul Chowk and Siddiq Centre.
The Horticulture Agency Lahore MD said major roads and important locations in Lahore were being decorated with beautiful electric lights and illuminated monuments to mark Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious fervor.
