Abbottabad: Commissioner Hazara Division Fayaz Ali Shah has directed that the repatriation of illegally residing Afghan nationals be completed within the next ten days, stressing that no delay, negligence, or laxity in the process will be tolerated.
He issued these directives while chairing an important video-link meeting with the deputy commissioners of all districts of Hazara Division, held in the light of instructions from the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The meeting focused on reviewing and accelerating the ongoing process of returning illegal Afghan nationals to their home country.
Addressing the meeting, the commissioner emphasized that the pace of repatriation must be further accelerated and completed strictly in line with the prescribed timeline. He directed the formation of special teams and the adoption of an effective and coordinated strategy to ensure the early completion of the process.
Fayaz Ali Shah further instructed that a comprehensive plan along with a clear timeline be submitted to the Commissioner Hazara’s Office by the following day. He also directed all deputy commissioners to submit daily progress reports, making it clear that any form of delay or negligence would not be tolerated.
The commissioner reiterated that the repatriation process would be carried out strictly in accordance with the law and pursued to its logical conclusion, ensuring full compliance with provincial government directives.
