Faisalabad:RPO Inam-ur-Rehman Malik reviewed monitoring and operational systems and city surveillance through CCTV cameras at the Punjab Safe City’s local office.
SSP Safe City Razaullah, DSP Aamir Sultan, and the Safe City team were present on the occasion.
According to spokesperson here Wednesday, the RPO inspected various sections of the Safe City Authority and reviewed monitoring and operational procedures.
Earlier, the RPO was warmly welcomed and briefed on crime prevention, administrative matters, the monitoring system, and the city surveillance by the SSP Safe City Razaullah.
A briefing was also given on the procedure for the timely detection of crimes and suspicious activities, rapid response, and effective action by using Safe City cameras.
On the occasion, the RPO directed that the Safe City monitoring system should be made more effective by utilizing modern technology.
He emphasized to ensure the immediate detection of suspicious activities, timely response, and effective action.
He further directed that the crime control system should be made more functional and effective through the efficient use of technology and effective monitoring of highways, sensitive locations, and entry and exit points be ensured.
He cleared that the protection of the lives and property of citizens is the top most priority of the police department.
