Mirpur: Alkhidmat Raazi Hospital’s annual fundraising gala, ‘Infaq 2026: Aik Shaam Raazi Kay Naam,’ was successfully held in Islamabad on Sunday, with donors pledging a remarkable Rs. 36 million to support the hospital’s expansion and enhancement of healthcare services. The event was graced by Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman, President of Alkhidmat, and Colonel Ashfaq Hussain as chief guests, who lauded the hospital’s efforts in delivering affordable and high-quality healthcare.
Addressing the audience, Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman highlighted Raazi Hospital’s commitment to serving the residents of Zone-V, Islamabad, emphasizing that the institution also provides free medical care to deserving patients. He described the hospital as a practical reflection of Alkhidmat’s mission to serve humanity, underscoring its role in improving community health through modern facilities and compassionate care.
Colonel Ashfaq Hussain praised the hospital’s disciplined management, transparent administration, and patient-friendly environment, noting that institutions like Raazi Hospital are vital in alleviating pressure on public health facilities. Chairman Nasrullah Randhawa and Managing Director Dr. Tahir Farooq briefed attendees on the hospital’s performance, future plans, and the public trust it has earned through affordable, high-quality healthcare services.
In his remarks, Patron-in-Chief Altaf Ahmed Bhat extended heartfelt thanks to all donors, including Jamaat-e-Islami, the CBR Society for providing the hospital plot, and Alkhidmat Foundation, ICNA, and local benefactors for funding the construction. He urged wealthy individuals and diaspora members to continue supporting the hospital, ensuring that underprivileged patients receive dignified and comprehensive healthcare.
