Sanghar DC reviews arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi


Sanghar: Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Sara Javed chaired a meeting on Tuesday to review arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), with officials from the district administration, police, local government, health department, Hesco and other relevant departments in attendance.



The meeting reviewed security, sanitation, traffic management, electricity supply, lighting and medical facilities for Eid Milad-un-Nabi processions, Milad gatherings and other religious events across the district.



The deputy commissioner directed the concerned officials to complete all arrangements well in advance and ensure foolproof security during processions and religious gatherings. She said providing maximum facilities to citizens and devotees was among the district administration’s top priorities.



She also directed the authorities to ensure illumination of government and private buildings as well as mosques on the occasion. A control room would be established at the deputy commissioner’s office to ensure effective coordination, monitoring and timely response during the celebrations.



Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdul Majeed Zehrani, all assistant commissioners, Rangers Wing 41 Hathungo SSR Saeed Ahmed, Federation of Commerce president Malik Sher Mohammad, vice president Haji Yamin alias Haji Lalo and religious scholars representing different schools of thought attended the meeting.
