ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed an appeal against stoppage of construction work on multi-storey building in Askari 4, Karachi while declaring the case non-admissible.
A three-member bench of the top court presided by Chief Justice, Qazi Faez Isa heard the appeal against the judgment of Sindh High Court (SHC).
At the outset of hearing, the top court said that the army housing directorate could only file the appeal through the federal government if it was an affectee.
It may be mentioned here that the SHC had stopped the construction work of multi-storey building at parking area of Askari 4, Karachi. The directorate had approached the SC against the judgment of SHC.
