Lahore: The distribution of scholarships and laptops among students has been announced, this distribution will take place during the months of October and November.
According to details, the Government of Punjab has issued the final schedule for the distribution of ‘Honhaar Scholarships’ and laptops to students across all nine divisions of the province.
Punjab’s Provincial Minister for Education, Rana Sikandar Hayat, stated that this distribution would be carried out during October and November.
In a message posted on social media, Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat announced that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz would distribute scholarships and laptops to students from the Sahiwal, Okara, and Pakpattan districts during a special ceremony at the University of Sahiwal on October 15.
He further added that following the Sahiwal event, similar ceremonies would be held across all nine divisions of the province within the coming weeks, where students from other districts would benefit from the scheme in turn.
Terming this significant decision great news for students in Punjab, the Education Minister expressed hope that the government would successfully complete the distribution process across all divisions within the stipulated timeframe.
However, further details regarding the specific number of laptops or scholarships to be distributed at each event have not yet been provided by the provincial minister.
