Lahore: Secretary Emergency Services Punjab Dr Rizwan Naseer on Thursday attended the closing ceremony of the Scout Leader Course at the Emergency Services Academy (ESA), where he welcomed newly inducted rescuers and congratulated them on joining Rescue 1122.
Addressing the participants, Dr Naseer said that working in Rescue 1122 was not merely a job but a serious responsibility, as rescuers are specially selected to serve humanity. He emphasised that the academy provides rigorous training to equip rescuers with the skills required to effectively handle challenging and emergency situations.
He further stressed the need for professionalism at all times while assisting people in distress and prayed for the success of the participants in their professional careers.
According to a spokesperson, the Basic-48 course comprised 115 newly recruited rescuers, including 106 male and nine female participants.
