Dera ismail khan: The district police have reviewed security arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), particularly the procession planned for 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal, with religious leaders assuring full cooperation to maintain peace and security.
The meeting, chaired by SP Headquarters Jaleel Imran Ghilzai on the directives of District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed, was attended by DSP City Syed Sagheer Gilani, Cantt SHO Abdul Ghaffar Khan, City SHO Sinan Khan Niazi and officials of the District Special Branch.
The participants reviewed the routes, expected participation and other security arrangements for various Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) programmes, with particular focus on the 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal procession.
The SP Headquarters said maintaining law and order and ensuring foolproof security for citizens during the religious occasion was the police’s top priority. He directed the concerned officers to ensure effective security arrangements at all programmes and along the procession route while maintaining close coordination with organisers.
The leaders of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat assured the police of their full cooperation and pledged to play their role in maintaining peace and ensuring smooth security arrangements during the celebrations.
