Karachi: A delegation of Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC) led by Dr. Ahson Qavi Siddiqi, CEO SHCC, held a meeting with Muhammad Sohail Rajput Chief Provincial Ombudsman Sindh in his office on Wednesday.
It was resolved by the both sides that Ombudsman office will forward medical related complaints to SHCC for quick redressal, a communique said
It is need of time to create synergies between both departments. Both parties agreed upon that Ombudsman office is receiving plenty of complaints at all 19 regional offices so far it is mandate of SHCC to investigate and decide these complaints.
The Ombudsman briefed that his offices received 25000 complaints in 2025 and most of them decided accordingly.
The Chief Ombudsman assured that his office will help and guide SHCC to develop online system of complaint redressal.
It was decided that Ombudsman office shall call meting of regional Ombudsmen and SHCC officials will provide briefing on its scope and mandate.
