ISLAMABAD:Short circuiting at feeders connected to 132 kV Grid Station Satellite Town Rawalpindi on Monday caused temporary power supply suspension to various localities.
According to Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) spokesman, power supply to 27 feeders attached to the grid station was suspended temporary. The power supply was cut to many feeders for safety reasons, he added.
The IESCO operation and GSO teams were making all out efforts to clear the fault.
The affected feeders were included Commercial Centre, Farooq e Azam 4th Road, CE Block Abu Bakar, Abdul Rehman, 6th Road, T&T, Asghar Mall, New Milour, Afandi Colony, Syedpur Road, Faizabad, Shakaryal, Shamsabad, Dhoke Khaba, National Market Ghusia Colony, PTCL Haider Chowk and Tariq Shaheed Road.
The IESCO also apologized to the consumers for the temporary suspension.
