Attock: Six people, including a woman, were injured in two separate road accidents reported from different parts of district Attock on Wednesday, according to police and rescue officials.
In the first incident, four people-among them a woman-were injured when a dumper collided with a car near Burhan Interchange on the GT Road, within the limits of Hassanabdal Police Station. Initial reports said the crash occurred due to a sudden manoeuvre by the dumper, badly damaging the car. Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene promptly, provided first aid, and shifted the injured to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. Two critically injured victims were later referred to Rawalpindi for specialised treatment. The injured were identified as Nadeem (22), the 62-year-old wife of Shahbaz, Rahim Khan (65), and Abdullah (22). Police arrested the dumper driver and initiated further investigation.
In a separate incident, two people sustained injuries in a collision between a motorcycle and a mini-van in Kot Chhajji, within the jurisdiction of Jand Police Station. Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the injured to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Jand, where they were admitted for medical treatment.
