Karachi: Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh Syed Awais Qadir Shah has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the nation on the occasion of Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day. The historic building of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh has been beautifully decorated with national flags and illuminated with special lighting to mark the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan.
‘Pakistan came into being as the result of the great struggle and sacrifices of our forefathers and the visionary leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah,’ Speaker Syed Awais Qadir Shah said. He said that freedom is a great blessing. ‘We must remain united and play our role in the development, prosperity, stability and security of Pakistan.’
The Speaker said that Independence Day reminds us of the importance of national unity, brotherhood and the encouragement of democratic values. He stressed that every Pakistani must fulfill their responsibilities with dedication and contribute wholeheartedly towards the progress and prosperity of the country.
