Islamabad: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza chaired an important meeting with zonal SPs, SDPOs and all SHOs at the Central Police Office to review the progress of under-construction and newly approved police stations.
A police spokesperson told reporter on Wednesday that the meeting focused on assessing the construction quality, pace of work and overall progress of police stations being developed under the SIPS protocol.
The SSP Qazi directed that all construction work must be completed within the stipulated timeframe and warned that any negligence, delay or substandard work would not be tolerated. He instructed SHOs and SDPOs to treat the construction process as their personal responsibility and ensure daily monitoring of each site.
He further emphasised that durable, high-quality infrastructure is essential for modern and people-friendly policing, enabling citizens to access a dignified and well-equipped environment at police stations.
SSP Qazi added that Islamabad Police is taking effective measures to upgrade infrastructure as part of its broader vision for an efficient, organised, and community-focused policing system.
